In 2009, broadcast TV goes all digital.  Are you ready?

Who is going to be affected? Consumers who currently receive free over-the-air television signals through antennas (rabbit ears) on television sets that are equipped with analog tuners & who do not subscribe to cable, satellite or a telephone company service provider will be affected by the transition.

How can I switch to DTV? There are three ways to switch by February 17, 2009. (1) DTV converter box that plugs into your existing analog TV set.  These boxes are available for purchase and the federal government will provide $40 coupons to be used toward the purchase of one of these boxes.  (2) Purchase a Digital TV Set with a built in digital tuner. (3) Subscribe to cable, satellite or a telephone company service.
